what is urco?
Effective Sept 1, 2026, this new Denver County regulation requires:
Composting and Recycling at residential buildings with 8+ units, food businesses, and permitted events
Recycling at non-residential buildings and construction sites
This means HOAs, residents, and businesses will need to implement on-site composting and recycling to avoid penalties.
